Suffering in Silence

Let's end the myth that only white girls have eating disorders. A new study published by the University of Southern California found that African-American girls are 50 percent more likely to be bulimic that girls who are white.

For some reason this doesn't surprise me. I have notice within the last few years that the Black women of Baltimore seem to fall on the far ends of the weight polls. In other words, the Black women are very slim or very heavy. There are not many who fall in between. I think some of this could be a result of trying to look like video girls but for the majority of sisters, their bulimia is a result of other problems. Child hood abuse, being a single mother, working numerous jobs, not feeling attractive are all possible reasons why the rate of bulima is much higher amongst black women.

1. Please forgive me for not posting regularly. My computer is something. I am thinking of investing in one of those mini computers. Anyone have one? What do you think about them?

2. Why did a crazy woman come up to me today and say "how much did you pay for that nose job"?

3. How proud am I of Michelle and Barack Obama. I swear there are grace and elegance personified. Michelle is a very real role model for the young black girls of Baltimore. Now if only more of them would follow her.

4 . would you date a guy who is younger than you? I have seen some really cute 18 year olds lately but I don't know.

5. I'm itching to relax my hair again but I am holding off. I won't relax my hair until August and I doubt if I will do it then.

Okay where was I

Well I finally got this computer running. I hope it hangs on for a few more months. It's a six year old dell after all. With this recession, I am afraid to spend money on anything. Even my needs much less my wants.

So why am I considering buying a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag that should be on sale starting Tuesday for half price(about 200).

Well I wanted to take a vacation but I guess I won't considering the recession.

By the way , I am not pregnant. As much as I preach about using two forms of birth control chile please. I finally had an orgasm with the swinger though. Not from intercourse but from his tongue. Hey it took two years and I guess an orgasm is an orgasm.

it took me so long to come back. Beauty has had big changes since the last time I a wrote a post. No I am not pregnant and yes I finally had an orgasm with the swinger. I've missed so many of your blogs. I will start posting as soon as I figure out how to fix my computer(it is running too slowly).

Not Yet

I have not abandoned this blog. Not yet anyway. I have always said the day I decided to stop blogging I would write a final post. I am still having computer trouble, and I've undergone major life changes. I will write about them when I return.

5. Now see this right>>> here. I don't agree with the abuse but she deserved that ass whipping. How in the hell are you going to screw in your grand mama's house. Was she crazy? I know I waited a long time and not everyone is willing to do the same but damn. Why did they not go to a hidden part of the woods or something. The hell if I would take those types of chances in my families home.



4. As of today I drooped 23 pounds. Thank God. BP was 107/70 down from 126/80. Now 126/80 is not high BP but is was higher than what I was used to. It's funny how an extra 20 pounds can throw the body off.



3. Why the hell the price of everything increasing at such a fast rate. The coast of food is skyrocketing. A pastry that I buy at the farmers market has increased from 1.75 to 2 bucks and I've noticed that bread ,milk and fruits and veg tables have also gone up.



2. I am so happy I don't drive right now. I am planing on buying a car thought. I need it for nursing school. Gas is to darn expensive although the price should start dropping since Saudi Arabia has pledged to increase output.



1. I am having fun with my natural hair again. I still haven't made it to a swimming pool yet but I will eventually.


My computer is acting a fool. If I am not around for a while, you know what's up. I will try to post as much as I can.

When advertising goes wrong.

How can either of these two young women explain their tattoos to their grandmothers? Now I know we have different hobbies but how in the hell can a woman fell so brave and safe advertising this type of hobby so openly.

I would be afraid that random men would yell all types of perverted things at me when as I am walking down the street.

The lady who has either of these two as a best friend, especially the one in the first photo, is incredibly brave. Imagine what the people in the emergency room will think the first time they open up her top to check her heart beat or pump her stomach*. I got a feeling she has had or may have her stomach pumped a number of times during her life. advertising
